What we collect

When you sign in with Google or Twitch, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture via OAuth. We do not store your OAuth passwords — we never see them.

When you start a stream session, we collect the chat messages from the stream you choose to analyze. These messages are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for analysis and stored in our database temporarily to generate insights.

How we use your data

  • To provide real-time chat analysis (top questions, sentiment, spam detection)
  • To generate post-stream summaries
  • To display session history and analytics in your dashboard
  • To send you product updates (only if you opt in)

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Chat message data is used solely for analysis within your account.

Third-party services

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Google Gemini — AI analysis of chat messages
  • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each of these services has their own privacy policies which govern how they handle data.

Data retention

Chat messages are retained for 30 days after a session ends. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To do so, contact us at privacy@streamerfriend.com.
